Missing Skis

Hi Everyone,
Today after the race Madelyn Bolton's skiis and poles went missing.  They are Atomic Race skis (they may say GS 9 on them).  They are last year's model.  They are 120cm in length.  Her poles were with them and are gone as well.  The poles are black and white, not sure of what make.  If you can all check your equipment to make sure that the wrong equipment wasn't picked up that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,Erin

To all the Nancy Greene racers:
This Saturday marks the beginning of the season for our Nancy Greene Racers.  We are hosting the first race at Cobble Hills.  We will once again be providing lunch for all the racers and I would ask that each of you please bring some snacks to help out with this (both healthy and more sugary would be great!!!).  The club will provide hot dogs and drinks for the kids.  Also, I will need some parents to help out with gate keeping, collecting bibs, course take down and organizing the food with the kitchen.  If you are able to help please let me know and I will let you know saturday what your duties will be.
See you all then, Erin

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to bring you up to date on what is happening with our K1 team.  Unfortunately we have not had any more racers sign up, so we are not going to be able to field a K1 team this year as per AOS rules.  I am working with the families of these kids to provide them with the opportunity to continue training at the club to ensure that they continue to develop their skills as racers and look ahead to next winter.

There were also a few Nancy Greene racers who were interested in possibly practicing with the K1's some evenings.  This will no longer be a possibility due to this turn of events.  I am sorry if this inconveniences you in any way.  At the parent meeting it had been proposed that we change practice nights all together for this age group and move them to a tuesday or thursday.  At this time I have not been given the go ahead to do this for this season by management at Cobble Hills.  I will continue to look at this as a possibility for next season.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.  I have everything I know how to make this work and I hate to see it turn out this way.

Looking forward to seeing you all at Christmas Camp.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a great summer despite our miserable weather.   I am starting to look ahead to race season and just need to get an idea of who may be returning and what age group the kids are falling in this year.  The categories are based on the kids age by December 31, 2009

Nancy Greene- 7-10

K1- 11-12

K2- 13-14

J- 15-19

Learn to race- 5-6

If you can send me a quick email just letting me know that would be greatly appreciated.  As we get closer to the ski swap I will be sending out more information.

Thanks, Erin
